The Philosophy
"Naija flavor is our greatest heritage."
My journey in the kitchen is an ongoing homage to Nigerian culture. Balancing late-night studying at LASU with early morning market runs in Lagos, I believe our local food deserves the most premium presentation.
From Market to Table
Sourcing the freshest peppers, spices, and proteins directly from local Lagos markets. We believe in letting our vibrant indigenous flavors speak, enhancing them only with precision and deep respect for our roots.
The Student-Chef Hustle
Mastering the rigorous academic environment of Lagos State University while running a premium culinary brand. It's proof that passion and education can coexist to create something truly exceptional.
Owambe Standards
Nigerians know good food. From the visual poetry of our modern plating to the rich, aromatic clouds of party jollof that precede the first bite, every dish is designed to bring the joy of a proper Lagos celebration.
The Reserve Ponmo
Lagos Hustle,
Elevated.
We take Ponmo (cow skin)—a deeply beloved staple of Nigerian street food—and meticulously elevate it. Currently taking the LASU Ojo campus by storm, this is not your regular street snack.
Slow-braised to achieve a melt-in-the-mouth texture, it is glazed in a fiery reduction of roasted scotch bonnets (ata rodo), native spices, and a delicate touch of fermented locust bean (iru). It is an unapologetically bold, sensory experience born in Lagos.
The Texture
Velvety, soft, and gelatinous perfection that simply melts.
The Heat
Rich umami paired with the undeniable kick of authentic Lagos spice.
The Gallery.
Smokey Party Jollof
Authentic firewood-smoked flavor, accompanied by perfectly spiced premium beef suya, roasted tomatoes, and golden fried plantain ribbons.
Elevated Asun
Spicy, smoke-roasted goat meat with caramelized onions, scotch bonnet glaze, and a hint of fresh citrus.
Seafood Native Rice
Rich palm oil infused rice with fresh ocean prawns, smoked fish, and aromatic scent leaf.
Truffle Suya Prawns
Jumbo tiger prawns marinated in our signature Yaji spice blend, finished with a touch of white truffle oil and micro-greens.
Modern Efo Riro
A rich, complex spinach stew with assorted meats and dried fish, elegantly deconstructed and served with bite-sized pounded yam spheres.
Gourmet Puff-Puff
Warm, spiced dough bites served with a rich, tangy hibiscus (zobo) syrup reduction.
